Robert E. Newton is a film and video editor with over 20 years experience. Much of his work is in the thriller and science-fiction genres. He enjoys the creative process and is keen to delve into areas like CGI. He has helped conceive and develop VFX sequences on several films, as well as having filled the post of VFX Supervisor. Robert has written extensive ADR and dialogue sequences for several films, and had directed ADR sessions. He is enthusiastic about recording temporary ADR, voice-overs, and final narration (and has been known to credibly impersonate the voice of featured actors). Robert has collaborated in the conception and mixing of the sound and music for a number of his projects. He has also directed and co-directed several second-unit shoots. His professional theatre background and degree (as actor and director) give him insight into drama and acting in the editing suite.
